Such good news!

First We Drown started as a dream and is becoming a reality. When I first started writing it I was so excited to start, but I was nervous about sharing it with anyone; and when I finally did they were nervous to read it. My sister admitted later that she didn't want to read it because she didn't want to have to tell me it was bad. Later, she was really glad that she didn't have to, because she liked it. Recently Beacon Publishing Group has decided that they like it too! The draft is in with the editors and I am very excited to share it with you all soon. For now I will keep writing so that the sequel won't be too far behind.
